12 MONTHS
AGREE ON THE STYLE OF THE WEDDING
There are so many options available to couples planning their big day whether it be a civil or religious ceremony at home or abroad.
FIX A BUDGET
Work out how much you would like to spend and stick to it.
ORGANISE THE RECEPTION
Visit some local venues and maybe ask some friends and family for their recommendations. You'll also need to contact Caterers/D.J's/Bands etc.
10 MONTHS
VISIT OH SUIT HIRE
An early visit to gain ideas of styles and Colours is always a good idea.
SELECT YOUR ATTENDANTS
Your Bestman & Ushers will play an important role in the Wedding. Choose friends you can trust and rely upon.
DRAW UP A GUEST LIST
Work out how many guests your venue (and Budget) can accommodate and draw up a list, making sure not to miss anyone out.
ARRANGE AND BOOK CARS
Make sure transportation for you and all your guests to and from all venues is arranged.
6 MONTHS
BOOK WEDDING SUITS
Call back to Oxford House to confirm the style of the Suits and Colours of Waistcoats and Cravats. You can then fill in a 'Booking Form' to confirm your Suits.
4 MONTHS
ARRANGE A STAG-DO
You and your Bestman should get together to decide where to go and to arrange any activities you may be interested in.
SEND OUT INVITES
Doing this in plenty of time so as people can make sure their diaries are clear and can arrange any travelling or book any accommodation.
2 MONTHS
ORGANISE FITTINGS
The suit fittings need to start approximately 6/8 weeks before the wedding and can be arranged by contacting Oxford House.
1 MONTH
PHONE TO CONFIRM BOOKINGS
Just for your own peace of mind phone around to confirm all of your bookings.
1 WEEK
COLLECT SUITS
Collect the suits from Oxford House usually on the Monday before the wedding and arrange with groomsmen the collection or delivery for each individual.
